Uganda’s FUFA president gets appointment in CAF Executive

Kampala, Uganda -Uganda’s Fufa President Eng. Moses Magogo together with other presidents of South Africa, Nigera and Sierra Leone has been appointed on the CAF Executive Committee.

The appointments came during the Executive Committee meeting held today in Manama, Bahrain.

Eng. Moses Magogo who has been FUFA president since 2013 after succeeding Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa who served for eight years but declined to seek re-election, will attend the meetings of the CAF’s top decision making organ but will not a vote.

Nigerian FA president Amaju Pinnick was elected the chairmanship of the African Cup of Nations and media committee.

While Sierra Leone’s Isha Johansen was appointed the chairperson of women football committee and South Africa FA boss Danny Jordaan was elected to head the Marketing.

Eng. Moses Magogo, 41, a former United Nations employee will be defending his seat on 5th August 2017 FUFA election.
