Uganda improves in FIFA rankings

KAMPALA – This was an improvement on last month’s rankings where Uganda was ranked 72th.

Uganda collected 478 points and remains the best country in the CECAFA region. The country faces Cape Verde in Group L of the 2019 AFCON qualifier opener on June 10th in Praia.

Before that the Cranes will play Ethiopia  and Senegal in build-up matches.

Other CECAFA Members:

Kenya (74), Rwanda (128), Ethiopia (125), Sudan (158), Burundi (148), Tanzania (139), South Sudan (147), Djibouti (195), Eritrea and Somalia are joint 206th.

Brazil leads the global rankings and Egypt (20) are the best on the African continent.
