JUBA – Political uncertainty gripped Juba on Tuesday following hints that the long-delayed national elections, currently scheduled for December 2026, could face another postponement due to a lack of funding and security sector reforms.

President Salva Kiir has declared his intention to run, but the rift with Vice President Riek Machar remains unhealed.
